Rugby League Skills

This week we had Benson from 'Rugby League Northland' come into our school to teach us about this exciting contact sport.  We learn't about the importance of warm-ups, how to hold the ball (in a hamburger hold), and how to run with a ball.  Here is a picture of me doing the Hamburger hold.

Dolphin balloon story

Today I wrote a great story.  I wrote words down correctly that I knew and used spaces between my words to make it easy for others to read.  I sounded out words I didn't know, used the word 'and' to extend my sentence, and had a capital letter and full stop.  Not bad for being at school for around 1 term!

Mrs G sent me to the principal for a special sticker (which I am holding too).

Japanese in my class

I have been helping my class to learn a few things in Japanese.  They are learning to say hello at different times of the day, and how to count to 10.  We have also been learning 'Twinkle twinkle' in Japanese.
